📦 Installation Guide

Welcome to Bulk Product Updater! This guide will help you get started with efficiently managing your BigCommerce product catalog.

1 Install the App

1. Click the "Install" button on the Bulk Product Updater app page in the BigCommerce Marketplace
2. Review the requested permissions and click "Confirm"
3. You will be automatically redirected to the app dashboard

2 Create Your First Product Group

1. Navigate to "Product Groups" in the sidebar
2. Click "Create New Product Group"
3. Use the filters to select products:
   • Filter by category
   • Filter by brand
   • Filter by availability
   • Search by product name
4. Give your group a descriptive name (e.g., "Summer Sale Products")
5. Click "Save"

3 Assign a Job

Once you have a Product Group, you can apply bulk operations:

1. Click on your Product Group
2. Click "Assign Job"
3. Choose from available operations:
   • Update Products - Update prices, categories, visibility
   • Bulk Prices - Add quantity-based discounts
   • Create Custom Fields - Add custom fields to products
   • Delete Custom Fields - Remove custom fields
4. Configure your settings
5. Click "Fire!" to start the job

4 Monitor Progress

1. Go to "Job Assignments" in the sidebar
2. View all your running and completed jobs
3. Click on the job type to see the configuration details
4. Check the "Failed" column for any errors
